The Private Members’ Bill on euthanasia/assisted suicide scheduled to be debated and voted on in the Dáil next Thursday is one of the most extreme bills of its kind anywhere in the world.
It is horrifying to think that the bill could pass Second Stage next week without any serious public debate or prior scrutiny of what it contains.
It is absolutely critical that everyone who opposes the introduction of euthanasia in Ireland makes their voice heard by contacting their local TDs immediately and calling on them to oppose the bill in the Dáil next Thursday.
