Hope Ireland is a coalition of medical professionals and disability rights advocates who seek to promote more and better palliative care and aim to ensure that existing laws against euthanasia and assisted suicide are not weakened or undermined.
We contribute to the public discourse on this issue with evidence-based arguments on why the introduction of assisted suicide and euthanasia is a regressive step for vulnerable people – particularly those who are poor, the elderly and those with disabilities.
