Hope Ireland issues briefing document on UK assisted dying legislation

The Labour Party’s Kim Leadbeater MP introduced the Terminally Ill Adults (End of Life) Bill in November 2024. The bill is currently undergoing examination in Westminster. It has been opposed by disability advocates, psychiatrists and other groups. The next debate and possible vote have been scheduled for 13 June 2025.
